# Join us in Richmond Hill for a day of learning, networking, and fun.
This in-person professional learning event (PLE) is open to finance professionals, executive leaders, and data management staff in working in Alliance member organizations. If your role involves financial planning, management, reporting, or data management, this day is for you.
We’ll start the morning with two “ask an expert” presentations from the Alliance’s leadership team. Sarah Hobbs, CEO of the Alliance, will provide updates and answer questions related to HHR funding and base funding increases. Marc Gordon, our Director of Information Management will provide an update on our RFP for an AI Scribe solution for the sector, as well as some other technology updates.
After this, we’ll have a presentation and “fireside chat” session about Interprofessional Primary Care Team Expansion funding. Phoebe Smith-Chen and Cory Russell from Ontario Health will provide an overview of how the program is going so far and anything they can share with you about upcoming changes. They will be joined for a Q&A session by some members of the finance CoP whose teams have received this funding and started using it.
There will be ample time for both structured and unstructured networking with peers, with lunchtime table conversations and a skill-testing cooperative game after lunch.
We’ll end the day with a data quality blitz led by Robin Page, co-chair of the Finance Community of Practice, and Christine Randle, the Alliance’s provincial data management coordinator. This will be an opportunity to dive into your centre’s most recent OHRS data in order to identify opportunities to the accuracy of your financial data reporting.
