This international conference will bring together investigators, clinicians, scientists, research staff, trainees, and health system leaders from Canada and abroad to advance the design, implementation, and global coordination of adaptive platform trials. Building on the success of previous APT conferences in 2024 and 2023 and the lessons learned from CanTreatCOVID, the conference will also highlight progress on TreatResp, an international adaptive platform trial evaluating treatments for acute respiratory infections.

TreatResp (Adaptive Platform Trial of Treatments for Respiratory Infections in Community Settings) is an international Adaptive Platform Trial to find effective treatments for respiratory infections. Our team includes researchers from Canada, UK, US, Australia, Chile, Sweden, Japan, and Uganda. The goal of TreatResp is to identify effective, safe, affordable, and evidence-based medications so they can be accessed by the community.
