In October 2025, the Alliance for Healthier Communities the officially launched our Interprofessional Primary Care Team (IPCT) Expansion Toolkit. In the first half of this webinar, we provided a brief overview of the Toolkit's contents, followed by a demonstration of how it might help you make the strategic and operational decisions necessary to implement your organization's expansion plans. The latter half was dedicated to a robust Q&A session with attendees.

# About the IPCT Expansion Toolkit
In response to the challenges faced by people in Ontario accessing primary health care, the Ontario Government has made a historic investment in Interprofessional Primary Care Team (IPCT) expansion. Under the leadership of Dr. Jane Philpott, teams are being funded to expand, with a goal of increasing attachment for people across Ontario. To support this, the Alliance for Healthier Communities created an online IPCT Expansion toolkit for organizations who received this funding, as well as any other IPCTs looking to increase their operational capacity and advance primary care access and attachment in their communities.
This toolkit consists of resources, case examples, and change ideas organized across nine key themes. It is available for free on our website, in English and French, for anyone who wishes to access it. We hope that that primary health care providers, teams, and decision-makers across all models and serving communities all over Ontario will find it valuable.
