# About the position 

 Reporting to the Mental Health and Substance Use Program Manager, Unison has an opportunity for a Social Work Case Manager, Canada Summer Jobs position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning, facilitation and implementation of various mental health group programs, summer activities, and events in the community
• Support with Outreach 
• Volunteer recruitment to support programs 
• Volunteer coordination duties

# Qualifications

 To qualify for this position under the Canada Summer Jobs Program, candidates must:

• be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.

• be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

• be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.

• Be familiar with the principles of Harm Reduction 

• Be familiar with the Mental Health Act and the Child, Youth and Family Act
