This event is presented by the Alliance for Healthier Communities
Come join us for the upcoming Lunch & Learn from the Alliance’s 2SLGBTQIA+ Advisory Committee. This month we are bringing together a panel of three thought-provoking speakers with a plethora of experience working with 2SLGBTQIA+ refugee communities. This is an opportunity to learn more about the unique challenges and gaps that 2SLGBTQIA+ newcomers and refugees currently face in the healthcare system.
During this session, you will hear about the barriers facing transgender refugee communities, a deep dive into an anti-oppressive practice toolkit, and a practical case study about supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ refugees from an Alliance member perspective. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions after the panel discussion.
