Did you know that dental issues are very common among people with FASD? This can include higher rates of tooth decay, gum inflammation, differences in how anesthetic / freezing work, high or low pain thresholds, and sensory issues that can interfere with good oral hygiene. People with FASD often benefit from accommodations and specialized care during dental treatment.
