# Who are we?

The Black Health Committee is a permanent part of the Alliance for Healthier Communities, made up of Black health leaders from community health centres. Our work relies on strong partnerships. Tackling anti-Black racism and its impact on health is central to our Strategy. We aim to create people-centred health programs that reflect the history and needs of Black communities in Ontario. Our goal is to shift health policy and programs to invest in care that truly serves people, while pushing leaders at all levels to address anti-Black racism and its effects on health.
