The Ontario COVID-19 Science Advisory Table is a group of scientific experts and health system leaders who evaluate and report on emerging evidence relevant to the COVID-19 pandemic, to inform Ontario’s response. The Science Advisory Table’s mandate is to provide summaries of relevant scientific evidence to public health and health care professionals, as well as the general public, by integrating information from existing scientific tables, Ontario’s universities and agencies, and the best global evidence. The Science Advisory Table is hosted by Public Health Ontario (PHO).

Our mandate is to provide weekly summaries of relevant scientific evidence for the COVID-19 Health Coordination Table of the Province of Ontario, integrating information from existing scientific tables, Ontario’s universities and agencies, and the best global evidence.
The Pursuing Equity Learning and Action Network was an 18-month initiative from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) which ran from October 2020 until April 2022. It aimed to reduce inequities in health and health care access, treatment, and outcomes by implementing comprehensive strategies to create and sustain equitable health systems. Participating teams selected a clinical project and worked with an IHI coach towards their goal.
In 2018/19 the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care provided one-time Mental Health and Addictions (MHA) funding to the Indigenous Primary Health Care Council (IPHCC) to support the collection and analysis of data to provide a better understanding of Indigenous community-governed MHA programs and services in Ontario.
