Ce symposium est présenté par les chercheurs du réseau d'apprentissage basé sur la pratique SPIDER pour la déprescription.  

Symposium SPIDER* virtuel : Ce symposium présentera certains des enseignements tirés de SPIDER Deprescribing, une étude en cours, pancanadienne et basée sur la pratique. Les présentations mettront en évidence les apprentissages des différentes équipes de l'étude, les expériences des patients partenaires, et la valeur de l'approche d'apprentissage basée sur la pratique de SPIDER, ainsi que le potentiel de mise à l'échelle et de diffusion.

Join the Canadian Social Prescribing Exchange to connect and learn! Held every 3rd Tuesday in March, July and November. 

Note: To account for Social Prescribing Day events, the March 2025 Canadian Social Prescribing Exchange will be held on Friday, March 21st. 

This is a meeting for all individuals and organizations in Canada interested in social prescribing. This may include those involved in similar or intersecting practices, and those not currently engaged in social prescribing, but who would like to learn more. Social prescribing implementers and practitioners are also welcome to participate and network.

In the Canadian Social Prescribing Exchange, we will explore and discuss social prescribing developments in Canada and attendees will have the opportunity for topic-specific networking and collaboration.

This event is presented by the Institute for Pandemics and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto.

Misinformation spread through social media has been responsible for an increasing mistrust of public health, particularly amplified during the COVID-19 pandemic. Existing analysis tools of social media and other online content rely on logic and science, often ignoring people’s beliefs, cultural backgrounds and feelings when it comes to understanding health information. 

The fifth-annual Vohra Miller Lectures in Critical Public Health Issues aims to foster a dialogue on health equity issues, as it relates to culturally-aligned artificial intelligence (AI) to foster trust in health.

# Background on Lecture Series

The Institute for Pandemics at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health was formed in spring 2020 in order to tackle some of the most pressing issues associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, and to understand how to prevent future pandemics. A central goal of The Institute is to address issues of health equity associated with pandemics and other public health emergencies. As part of this goal, The Institute, along with its founding donor, the Vohra Miller Foundation, sponsors a lecture series that features preeminent scholars, policymakers, advocates, and others who are engaging in the science of pandemic-related health inequities, other critical public health issues, and in the translation of that science. This is the fifth annual lecture of the Vohra Miller Lectures in Critical Public Health Issues.
