    Many community workers support clients who want to apply for permanent resident status in Canada. One way to do this is by making a Humanitarian and Compassionate (H&C) application. An H&C is a request to apply for PR status from inside Canada that is based on all of the person’s circumstances.

    This webinar will outline important details about the H&C process - who can apply and what supporting evidence community workers can help clients gather. Our speakers will also share resources, tips, and cautions about making an H&C application.

Organizations should have interpreter services that are accessible, and staff should be provided with the tools necessary to provide the highest quality interpreter services to their families. CHEO has recently expanded their interpreter services. The aim of this webinar is to share these new services and strategies.
